THE ART CLASS: late-autumnmix x9 weeks

9 sessions just gone by before Christmas… mostly in the cold barn as it’s been slashing wet grey for months up here in Scotland…so grey, too grey. No wonder I stuck to pumpkins for 3 weeks, drawing, painting, printing, inking… to really absorb those orange glowing colours. The occasional dead pheasant, partridge and fish head prompted great spontaneous images, each time building on our perspectives and volumes and shadows. Also fun had looking at ellipses in the festive 17C still life… until 2014… hope you do those mince pie homeworks…
