IMG_0311.JPGNo plastics washed up in the sea? What a contrast to 6 years of collecting rubbish bags full of big plastic scruffy stuff on the West Coast of Scotland. From the north to southern hemisphere to the West Coast of Australia, cold to very hot, wet to very dry, grey to very blue, rough rock to squeaky sand, my kind of heaven. Really no plastic? I started to look very, very closely in the blinding light on Cottesloe Beach, Perth, WA and started my Australian Coastline Collection of the very, very, tiny bits of colourful plastic buried in the sand grains… like walking on plastic sand…
